This year we have 2 options for Stage 1 on June 8th 2025 of the Dirty Spruce rides. First is the Black Spruce route starting from CycleLogic and covering almost 70km. Start by going towards the river and the group will stay together as we roll along the Cottonwood Park. Once we head up Hart Highway the group will break up into different speeds. You may need to be prepared to ride on your own, or bring a friend to ride the loop with.

The White Spruce loop covers 100km starting with the Black Spruce then heading into Willow River and towards Giscome. We’ll turn right before the train tracks just after the school. Go over the first bridge, then take the right-hand forks. Once you cross the culvert with railway ties, look for the next major right which will let you descend to the Willow River. Next you have a bit of a steeper climb out of the river, followed by a longer uphill drag to the road. Turn left on the road and watch for East Shelley, one of the premiere gravel descents in the area. At the bottom of Shelley turn right and you’ll rejoin the beginning of the loop. Finish back at CycleLogic.
